The actual effect of antiviral yarns in applications may also be affected by the type of fabric. For some heavier fabrics, such as winter clothing or work clothes, the impact of antiviral yarns may be relatively small, because these fabrics have strong warmth retention and wind resistance, and the breathability requirements are not as high as those of light and thin fabrics. For light and thin fabrics in summer, especially those that come into direct contact with the skin, the breathability and comfort of antiviral yarns are more important, so special attention should be paid to the design and material selection.
