The production process of Polyester Blended FDY Yarn is a complex process, and everything starts with selected raw materials. The production of polyester blended fully drawn yarn first requires the preparation of polyester chips (PET) as the main raw material, and other suitable fiber raw materials such as cotton, viscose, nylon, etc. are selected according to the blending ratio. These raw materials must undergo strict quality inspection and purification to ensure that their purity and quality meet production requirements. The preparation of polyester is a key link in the production process. Under the action of high temperature, high pressure and catalyst, terephthalic acid (PTA) and ethylene glycol (EG) are polycondensed to form polyester polymer compounds. This polymerization reaction usually adopts a continuous polymerization method to ensure the full reaction of the raw materials and the uniformity of the product. The polyester melt or slice obtained after the polymerization reaction then enters the spinning stage. The core of the spinning process is to melt-spin the melt or slice through a spinning machine to form continuous filaments. For fully drawn yarn (FDY), stretching treatment is also required during the spinning process to orient the fiber molecular chain, thereby improving the strength and elasticity of the fiber. Blending technology is cleverly applied in this stage, and different fiber raw materials are mixed and spun in proportion to form blended fibers with unique properties. The primary fibers obtained by spinning also need to go through a series of post-processing processes, including heat setting, curling, and cutting, etc., to further improve the physical properties and appearance quality of the fibers. Heat setting can eliminate the internal stress of the fibers and improve dimensional stability; curling can increase the cohesion of the fibers, improve the warmth retention and elasticity of the textiles, and the carefully treated Polyester Blended FDY Yarn is packaged into rolls or cut to a fixed length, becoming a popular textile raw material on the market.
